2017 has already surprised many investors and advisors and there are no doubt more surprises to come. Since Trump's election, the equity markets have rallied, so have emerging markets. Politics, across the globe, is dominating the investment agenda and the prospect of more aggressive rate hikes in the United States has become a real possiblity adding further complexity to the picture. In Asia, China's rebalancing continues with consequences for all economies in the region.
With such a backdrop, FSA returned to Bangkok with seven leading asset managers sharing their views. The Forum covered a broad range of topics but they all had one thing in common: the portfolio managers were expecting these funds and asset classes to deliver above average performance.
