The funds are the BOCOM Schroder Growth Mixed Securities Investment Fund and the BOCOM Schroder Stable Allocation Mixed Securities Investment Fund.

The funds are among ten that were approved in January for the mainland-Hong Kong Mutual Recognition of Funds programme, which was implemented last year.

The Bank of Communications will distribute the products in Hong Kong.

Julia Lee, managing director, believes that China’s reforms offer investment opportunity. “The growth from emerging industries will be [apparent] in 2016,” she said.

“The fund managers only invest in their strongest conviction ideas, as their aim is to make Hong Kong investors benefit from the upgrade and transition of China’s economy and the boom of reform and innovation.”
